I have a small business and need an app for customers to use with an in-app purchase option. The purpose of the app is to calculate seismic bracing requirements using multiple parameters from within a database, and then generate a report to be used on projects in the construction industry.
I previously attempted to create a web-based application using Zoho Creator but ended up needing to hire a programmer because it needed customization utilizing its proprietary Deluge language. The app was 95% complete except the report was not exactly what I wanted, there were also payment processing issues, and eventually it ended up on the shelf. In retrospect I am not sure Zoho Creator was the way to go since it is proprietary, so I want to explore other options, although I would consider keeping Zoho if it is more cost effective and can be completed with my specific requirements. The end goal would be to have a cross platform application that is available as a web based application as well as on IOS and Android.
I will share one of the tabs from the Excel spreadsheet with shortlisted candidates so you can see a sample of the database, as well as the second tab is a sample report.
I don't have a specific number for a budget as this is my first app and I don't know what these things cost on average. I would like to discuss the scope of the project, get a cost estimate, and proceed from there.
