Looking for a person experienced in working both with polygon based graphic used in animation/3D printing and engineering CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, NX, etc.).
We have several 3D models of test samples that will have to be structurally tested. Due to geometry complexity they were created in Blender so the file type (.stl) isn't usable for FEM. I need a competent person to convert ( and possibly modify ) the models into the .step file that is far more suitable for engineering CAD programs. You may use any tools available such a meshmixer, freecad, solidworks, sketchup, etc.
Testing will be done in Inventor Nastran In-CAD so any other format that proves to be usable by Inventor is also valid.
We've included a simple test on a somewhat easy model to find the right people.
This work consist of:
1. Successfully converting first model ( 6mm tensile strength sample.stl) given on UpWork
2. Explaining the procedure in details with screenshots
3. Finishing up other samples ( will be given on Google Drive link )
