We sell personalized art prints to consumers. Our art prints are often given as gifts to babies and children, so our customers are happy and friendly.
The job involves responding to customers using our help desk application and ticket system. We use Gorgias for our help desk application, and it's integrated with Shopify, our e-commerce platform.
Communication is text-based, not over the phone. Much of the workflows and communications are already automated in Gorgias, with customer and order data pulled from Shopify to minimize data entry. You'll be assigned tickets and you'll respond to them. It's a snap once you get the hang of it.
Based on current ticket volume, we estimate that you will work 2-3 hours per day initially. Ideally to start you will work 1-1.5 hours in the morning (any time zone in the U.S.) and 1-1.5 hours in the late afternoon or evening. We are growing, so you'll be able to increase hours if you want to.
We are looking for someone with experience in a customer service role who is familiar with a help desk application or similar application. You must have strong English writing skills and attention to detail. You will typically use templated responses (macros) that you'll customize and personalize as needed. We are super friendly to our customers and want them to be happy, so you've got to be able to keep a friendly vibe.
We will start with training, then we will start to assign you the easiest tickets, and then assign you the more involved tickets as you get to know the system, our business, and our customers.
