Starting the day with a long to-do list is our daily life. It becomes exhausting before even starting the work. Imagine having 10 critical tasks to complete before you go to lunch.
It is the ground reality of a freelancer’s life. Sometimes you can easily work for 10 hours and still feel being unproductive. Then there are also times when you work only for 2-3 hours and complete everything that you thought would take 10 hours.
Being productive every minute you spend on your desk, something we all want to achieve but could never make it real. These are few tips you can follow to make your day more productive:
You might have read thousands of theories and articles that prove coffee and tea are anti-health. Might be true. But you got to agree with one thing that they get you started. If you are too a part of majority that gets kick started with a couple of coffees, do it.
Let s face it. Most of us are in a majority of people who decide to start yoga and gym every month but stops after a couple of days. Then it becomes somewhat embarrassing in our own thoughts. Every day we feel bad not to continue the health exercise we have chosen.
Stop it!!
No second thought that Yoga and Gym make you healthy and more productive. But if you are one of those who can’t continue, stop feeling bad about it.
A short 30 minutes walk in a peaceful green environment would be good enough to make you fresh and energetic for the day.
Apart from work, is there something you always crave to do for the one last time? Make room for it before you start working. It could be playing with your dog, hitting your best score in a game, checking your social media, riding your bike, playing guitar or anything you want. A short 15-30 minutes session before work could boost you up for entire day.
Now is the time to check your nasty to do list which is more likely not to be followed, as usual. Check everything in your mails and schedules and shortlist on basis of criticality and urgency. It is good to know to what you have in your bin for the entire day. Don’t start worrying about it before you start, but keep it simple like good to know stuff. Believe in your capability and be sure you would complete it.
Most of the times we keep on checking something important and start worrying about it when we haven’t even started working. Don’t do it unless you are starting it right now. It is good to keep things simple. No matter how important the task is, worry about it when you actually start. Starting a new task, take it once and don’t leave it unless it is complete. It won’t only decrease your heart beats but will also help you strike out your to-do things on a faster rate.
