Hello,
We have auto parts invoices that we receive daily from one of our suppliers. The invoices are clean, clearly printed in a structured format without writing or other human artifacts near or around the necessary data we would like to extract. We would like to be able to feed a stack of invoices through our scanner all at once - not one at a time. Each document has a few pieces of information we would like exported into an excel document in a structured way. Each individual page also needs to be saved as a unique pdf with a custom file name based on 3 fields that are pulled from the extracted data. The file name should end up as : Order #____Invoice #_______Amount.
Upon hiring someone for this position I will provide you with an example of a multi - invoice scan that contains various examples of different things the developed program needs to be aware of - multi line invoices, part number changes that are indicated below the part line, and core charges that are sometimes indicated below a part line.
As a side note, we attempted pdf to excel using Adobe Pro, but it poorly structured the data output, had no apparent means of saving each page separately in a structured way, and it had trouble with the quantity to the left of each part number, probably due to the adjacent, vertical line that creates the invoice table. Thank you for your interest and please message me with any questions!
