I need to cat multiple files chronologically in the order in which they are created found using the following command in the log file directory:
find -newermt 'xxx-xx-xx 18:55:00' ! -newermt 'xxxx-xx-xx 20:55:00' -ls
And move them into a new directory for storage. This does not need to be a scheduled task. I do need to explain that in said directory the output of the above command may look like:
file 1 timestamp 1
file 5 ts 5
file 8 ts 8
etc.
I need for the concatenation to combine files according to timestamp in order, so it would be the contents of:
file 1 timestamp 1
file 2 timestamp 2
file 3 timestamp 3
All in a single file. I need the new file to be added to a separate directory (let's just use the /tmp directory for now).
I'm OK with the files being moved/sorted/etc. before concatenated, really creative option is up to you here.
