We're looking for a windows expert to help us architect and design a system to setup windows machines and deploy (and update/manage) a proprietary software package.
We have a system of roughly 30 nodes spread out across the USA each attached to the public internet. Our goals for these nodes are to:
1) Be able to swap them out effortlyless by a non-IT trained admin and have them pickup the appropriate provisioning
2) Be able to send proprietary software/config updates to the fleet in a centralized/automated manner (WITHOUT having to RDP into each machine)
3) Ideally the machines are each headless, with no keyboard/mouse/monitor and thus are able to be effectively monitored remotely.
I'm familiar with Linux and can easily name 10 different ways to achieve these goals on that platform, but have no idea where to even start for windows. We're on windows because we're using some proprietary software from a vendor that must be on windows.
