Required software development freelancer for Docker Toolbox: Error response from daemon: invalid mode: /root/docker. job

Hi,
I am currently replicating a course and get an error message, which I cannot figure out. I use Docker Toolbox instead of Docker because I only have Windows 10 Home. When I run the following code in the Windows PowerShell

PS C:\\Program Files\\Docker Toolbox> docker run -ti -h python -v ${\u200bpwd}\u200b:/root/docker -p 9999:9999 ubuntu:latest /bin/bash

I get the error message:

C:\\Program Files\\Docker Toolbox\\docker.exe: Error response from daemon: invalid mode: /root/docker.
See 'C:\\Program Files\\Docker Toolbox\\docker.exe run --help'

When I do this in the Command Prompt I can access the root as expected. Please note that I would exactly replicate the above code. I appreciate that this is hopefully a short fix, but I would most likely require help on this on a regular basis as I am a complete Linux newbie.
