I am looking to have a 1-2 hour creatively oriented conversation with a math/programming expert. This could turn into a longer project of algorithm creation, depending on where our conversation goes. This is a very open ended job, and would rely on creative brainstorming--there is nothing 'at stake'; what I would be paying for is your genuine opinion and creative ideas. The software works like this: between 1000 and 10000 objects are launched into an open-space 3d environment. The user applies forces to these objects in interesting ways, which moves them around in ways that are cool visually. For example: gravity, or 'whirl,' or 'smoothly return to original position.' It is build in Unity, C#, with their ECS/Jobs system.
The conversation would go like this: first 15 minutes would be you 'playing' the graphics program (it is already built), and me explaining how it works and the general gist of it. Then I ask: 'what do you think would be cool?' What ways could you think of to manipulate these objects?' You would help come up with/write algorithms for adding forces to these objects.
This is my own project, it is low-stakes, and it will be available for free online.
