We run a small company that rents offices to psychologists. We have both full time and part time offices. For the Part time offices, I am looking to create an online tool/site that allows viewing and booking open office 'blocks'. The blocks are usually a 4 hr time increment, but should be user definable per office/location. For any new blocks selected, I would like to charge for each block booked above and beyond what a user's normal schedule would be so there would also need to be the ability to pass this into a shopping cart/checkout process.
Ideally I'd like to have an overlay built on top of google services (calendar, etc.) if feasible but am open to any architecture/services that are most efficient and easiest to do this (including writing an overlay to an existing open source tool like 'Booked Scheduler' and having hosted someplace).
