Applicants to this position should have passion and enthusiasm for all things design, 3D and game design. We are looking for low-poly perfection, highly efficient production and mapping of low-poly 3D objects, environment/terrain, and creatures similar to those shown in the attached images, for an incredible new video game currently in development. This would be a long-term position for the right candidate.
Communication is key, and successful applicants will have a high degree of skill and able to produce beautiful, high-quality low-poly models that will be perfectly adaptable to Unity.
The following skills and/or requirements are an absolute must:
- At least 3 years Blender or Maya experience in a production environment. (Blender Preferred)
- 3D Skills; like... Jedi/Wizard level. There is nothing you can't model, and you are considerate of tris/poly-counts as they apply to game development.
- Experience modeling environments, objects and/or characters for use in Unity.
- Texturing/Mapping Experience
- Animation & Rigging skills will be considered an asset, but is not a requirement.
- Particle FX skills will also be considered an asset, but is not a requirement.
- Positive, can-do, team player attitude.
- Able to communicate clearly and follow instructions, but must also be able to think 'out of the box' to achieve design solutions.
