We have just been told by cPanel that they are changing their pricing structure. Instead of us paying a licence for cPanel for each server, we will need to pay for the total number of accounts on each server. We cannot afford these costs, so we need to find an alternative. We need a recommendation to replace cPanel based on the following requirements:
1. We need a control panel for both mail server and web server, although the main requirement is for a mail server since that's where most of the accounts are (we have 3000 accounts on mail server (Mail1), and 340 on webserver (EN2)). Note that most accounts on webserver also have their mail on the same server, but these could be split if necessary.
2. Some customers use their control panel, so a customer control panel would be required.
3. Webmail interface would be required.
4. We need to add aliased domains.
5. We need to be able to forward mail, with the sender name changed because of SPF.
6. SpamAssassin or other free anti-spam bolt-on.
7. Built-in firewall including csf and lfd support.
8. Web support for https.
9. Web support for WordPress! and phpMyAdmin.
10. Software must have support and have a long life!
11. Need to be able to allocate quotas for each customer, plus get information on customer usage, so we would need logs, plus disk and bandwidth usage.
12. FTP access for the web server.
13. A daily backup facility. Need to be able to restore individual accounts.
14. Account transfer support from cPanel would be good!
15. Reseller/sub account function
