Our team is in the process of moving all of our software to a microservices-based infrastructure. You'll be working on this large project, refactoring, documenting and testing our existing systems, and also creating entirely new microservices.
In all cases, you'll be integrating with a live, in-production system.
Our development cycles are short, and we focus on getting the job done.
The code you produce will directly impact the success of our company.
Skills & requirements
The most important thing we're looking for is someone who is extremely smart, passionate about getting the job done well and on time, and who works well under the unique pressures of a start-up environment. This will be a terrific opportunity for the right person to work with a small, highly motivated team, helping to build the software for a fast growing, already profitable startup.
Must know core Java extremely well
Deep knowledge of Java data structures, HTTP, REST, JSON, and XML
Familiarity with MongoDB, the ZK framework, Tomcat, and/or Amazon Web Services is a plus - or be ready to learn!
Must be independently motivated and goal focused.
