You'll need a Netflix login to be able to do this job!
I'm initially looking for a very short job to give me a proof of concept.
I know my way around js - but I don't know react. I want to access variables relating to the current state of the netflix player using js (current time, duration, playing/paused)
When you play a show in Chrome on Mac OS on Netflix - if you run the react developer tools, you'll see a class called BaseAkiraPlayer
This has state cadmiumPlayerInstance
which has methods getCurrentTime & getDuration
I want to be able to access these methods from the console in chrome.
(If the proof of concept is succesfull, then ultimately I'll want to access them from a chrome plugin)
I'm looking for code from you which I can type into the console something conceptually like:
loadNecessaryJSFiles...
var akira = React.getClass(BaseAkiraPlayer)
var player = akira.cadmiumPlayerInstance
var currentTime = player.getCurrentTime()
As I said - I don't know my way round React - so it's up to you to let me know the right way to approach this. The end goal is to have some standalone javascript that can get info about the player state.
