The purpose of this project is to gain an understanding of the various distributions of Linux and to form an educated opinion as to which distribution would be appropriate for different users/demographics.
To do so, you will conduct research regarding the various Linux distros available and for whom each was developed.
You will then create a believable fictitious end user who must use a Linux distribution as their main OS and to pair that user up with an appropriate Linux distro. You are encouraged to look into how each distro can be used in different 'nontraditional' environments and by non-traditional users.
Deliverables include:
A PowerPoint or Prezi presentation providing information about their user and the distro that you think is best suited to them
A one page (double spaced, 12 pt Arial, 1/2 inch margins) paper summarizing their presentation.
Thanks
