Epicor Vista - Add identifier for transactions, something besides Department

Were a US company using Epicor Vista (or Vantage?) 8.03. We need to be able to identify transactions in our GL related to our Canadian operations. We currently use Departments to specify product categories. Is there some other field we can use to identify Canadian transactions within our system? Segment? Division?
