Hello!

Im running a side project and need some quick help. Im learning about the world of AWS and currently have my ec2 set up running a cron job with a python script on a daily basis.

However, my python script wont connect to an api on the internet even though I can ping other servers. The same python script runs on my local machine fine.

I need some help figuring this out, but Id like to learn along the way. A friend of mine thinks it could be because my ec2 instance isnt set up to hit ipv6.

Deliverable: Sit with me for 30min-1hr over google hangout and walk me through the debugging process. Definition of done: I have a solution for how to connect my script to the api Im trying to hit.
