We are adding a new section to the advisor portion of our website, where financial advisors will be able to put together a customized proposal. This entails the advisor inputting a few pieces of client information, and the system will provide two hypothetical portfolios of assets based on this information - one reflecting the clients circumstances (Portfolio 1) and another reflecting the clients assumed risk appetite (Portfolio 2). The idea behind this is to outline any discrepancies between what the client believes their risk tolerance should be, and what their circumstances actually dictate their risk tolerance should be. If they are one in the same, the system will only provide one hypothetical portfolio.

There will be five risk profiles to choose from:

o Low
o Low-Medium
o Medium
o Medium-High
o High

Each profile will have an asset allocation pie chart, a fund allocation pie chart, and a period returns table associated with them. These will all be in Excel format.

Below is a step-by-step walkthrough of what the advisors process will look like:

1) The advisor will input the investment amount, type of account, age, time horizon, and assumed risk appetite of the client.

2) The system needs to take the inputs and match it to one of the portfolios we provide, then show the portfolio(s) on the next page. This page also needs to provide the options to include certain static pages, as well as a print PDF function.
o In the section for Portfolio 1, the program needs to insert the name of the risk profile (i.e., Low, Low-Medium, Medium, Medium-High, High) at the end of the first paragraph, and then pull the pie charts and performance table from the appropriate Excel spreadsheet.
o In the section for Portfolio 2 (if there is one), the program needs to insert the name of the risk profile (i.e., Low, Low-Medium, Medium, Medium-High, High) at the end of the first paragraph, and then pull the pie charts and performance table from the appropriate Excel spreadsheet.

3) Once the user hits print PDF, it should show as follows:
o Cover page
o Portfolio proposal(s)
o Any static pages
o Disclaimer

We need to be able to update the static pages on our own, regularly.
