Create Professional Reports & Report Templates for a Ruby Project

Deliverables are:
Professional looking Reports that can be generated by our Ruby on Rails web app.
Style Guide that we can use for modifying reports
Feedback on our Report generating mechanisms, to improve user experience.

Your job is to:
Look at our example Doc file that shows a sample layout for one report. (more info supplied upon request)
Recommend a free or inexpensive Ruby compatible Report Generator package for our purposes.
(We have two types of reports: Printed and Visual (Web). There are basic graphics.
Use our initial design to make a style Guide
Reports must appear highly Professional (these are going to CEO/Directors)
We go back and forth on tweaking the reports until satisfied.
Generate the final code so that we can implement Report layout
I believe there are 15 total Reports, 8 are simple, 5 have complex layouts, but not difficult, 2 are combination reports that can be hundreds of pages when generated.
You provide the code for each report, that our programmer can integrate into Ruby.

There may be additional Ruby work available if we work well together.
Expect 20-30% of billable time to be telephone time. If you are a really good designer, it could be much less. But you have to be a perfectionist!
