Need Help Setting Up Schema Microdata for Events on a Wix site

Need to implement schema/microdata for musical events and artists on a Wix website

we want our events to be aggregated onto the events listed on top of google SERPS for Portland Events portland concerts and similar searches..

we would also like the artist pages to have proper microdata formatting so that it will be aggregated into the google Knowledge Graph panel on SERPs, etc

i think we will need to set up some kind of template for us to use for future events, so that we can include proper formatting on all future events..

website data will share with shortlisted candidates , and there is an events page that lists upcoming events, and each event has its own page as well.

I tried generating the artist microdata using a generator and the output validated on the Google Structured Data Testing Tool, but when i followed the guide for implementing schema microdata into wix sites, the Structured Data Testing Tool is not finding the data on the events pag.
