Systems Architect

VxRail resident responsible for day-to-day support, maintenance and code upgrades; performance monitoring; troubleshooting and opening SRs and working with support to resolve issues; VxRail and VSAN experience is mandatory.

Scope of work:

- Assist customer with the VxRail P570 12 node cluster day to day administrative task.

- Migration of data

- Train customer on features and operational functions of the VxRail cluster

Must have skills: VxRail Administration

Task in scope

- Assisting the customer with the operational responsibility and daily administration activities to support the VxRail P570 12 node Cluster environment.

- Sharing ownership at the customers direction of operational responsibility for infrastructure related to the solution configuration, provisioning, maintenance, monitoring, and service level alignments at the customer site(s).

- Assisting with the solution documentation of policies and procedures in conjunction with the compliance manager(s) and with other key stakeholders.

- Providing knowledge transfer of EMC Best Practices to address the customers skills and resource gaps to ensure that the customer obtains an operational understanding of the existing solution infrastructure to successfully run their day-to-day operations.

- Meet with the customer to ensure that the environment and operational implementation requirements (hardware, software, and infrastructure) are met by the customer and provides the customer with a list of required or beneficial updates.

- VxRail Appliance/Hyper-converged Infrastructure administration and management

Nice to have skills:

- Proficiency in EMC HCI products and their integration points.

- Proficiency in other EMC/VMware hardware, software, and/or operating environments.

- Knowledge of delivery skill sets related to EMC training requirements.
