Data / Developer (API's, Data Structures and Data manipulation)

Role Overview

Maths background with interest in computing, Bayesian analysis with
ability to understand machine-learning, data mining, and information
retrieval to design, prototyping, and aide in developing next-generation analytics and rendering engines.

Working with services that support overall solution development. you will interact
directly with the customer team on the solution to source data sets, outline
analysis, and drive the analytic approach to support the success of the solution overall.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

- Understand business problems and design end-to-end analytics use cases
- Develop complex models and algorithms that drive innovation
in the solution team (this may include advanced maintenance algorithms,
probability models and so on)
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis to provide
actionable insights, identify trends, and measure performance for the solution
- Collaborate with other developers to implement and deploy scalable solutions
- Provide thought leadership by researching best practices, conducting experiments, and collaborating with industry leaders in the relevant mobility space

Key Skills and Experience
- PhD, Msc, BSc, or recent graduates will be considered in computer science, statistics, or operations research or related technical discipline
- Extensive interest in innovation using cutting edge maths, (probability, 3D rendering etc)

- Ability to Deep dive in to :
knowledge of machine learning, statistics, optimization or related field

- Experience
Core computing
- Have ability to work with large data sets, simulation/ optimization and distributed
computing tools ( some examples ) to work and utilise rapid development methods
- Good to have Experience in similar digital settings contributing to building digital solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong desire to work in
cross functional teams
- Ability to convey rigorous mathematical concepts and considerations to non-experts
- Ability to distil problem definitions, models, and constraints from informal business
requirements, and to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives
- Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around them
- Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace
- Passion for innovation and can do attitude

This role is open to creative thinkers and is not strictly a development only position. We welcome lateral thinkers looking to go beyond a traditional IT role.
