Remote Data Mining And Management Job In Data Science And Analytics
Parsing PDF (LinkedIn Resumes)
Find more Data Mining And Management remote jobs posted recently Worldwide
Hi! Were looking to hire a Python programmer who can write a Mac-friendly code for us that can parse information from PDF into separate columns. The format of the PDFs is in the currently downloadable PDF from LinkedIn, and wed like to parse experience and education sections in particular (e.g., job title, employer, duration, location; institution, degree type, major, duration). There will be some differences between different profiles in terms of completeness of the data -- some experience spells have missing duration or location, for example. Youll need to be mindful about these differences.
The completed program will take a directory of the folder that contains the PDFs as input and will generate a CSV file that has information from each profile in each row.
