Webinar/Q&A Transcriptionist

We are searching for a person who can transcribe live webinars. We currently have a person in this position but would like to have another person doing 1-2 transcripts per week and as a backup. These transcripts will consist of one person talking answering questions from students in a medical training course.

Our live support sessions are 1 hour in length, and there are 2-3 each week. Once a month there is an additional 90-minute session. Both audio (mp3) and video (mp4) files are provided. This person will do probably 1 of the transcripts per week and sometimes more if the other transcriptionist falls behind. The volume may raise to 2-3 per week. See sample audio file below.

The transcripts need to submitted as a Google Doc but only minimal formatting is required. Transcripts should be proofed, with proper punctuation and anything inaudible should include a sounds like note. The sessions occur on different days each week. We will provide a schedule in Asana when files are available for narration. Transcriptions are expected back within five days.

We pay per audio minute. Please include your per audio hour rate in your proposal.
