Seeking a consultant with knowledge of poultry feed to assist in developing a chicken scratch blend

Dear Freelancers,

Im looking for an individual with knowledge or background in poultry feed and bird seed. I am working with an established seed company to develop a new line of pet and farm animal foods. Our first project is a new chicken scratch, potentially organic.

I would like to work with someone who has a knowledge of blending and creating their own chicken scratches, whether that be in a professional or personal capacity. The contract would include 2 - 4 hours of consulting and research to assist in our initial development of the product. Depending on the person, this may evolve into more work over time.

Here are some examples of the type of questions we are exploring:

1) What types of seeds and in what proportions should we consider using in our chicken scratch blend?

2) How can we bests utilize the seeds we are currently sourcing to develop the blend?

3) Is there an established and legitimate market for organic chicken scratch?
