Worpress developer needed to create simple custom functionality / potential plug in within 48 hrs

I was working with another freelancer who received the instructions a few weeks ago and only recently told me he will need to develop a plug in and the project will take way more time than I need it by. At this point I need a wordpress developer who is willing to give me honest and sincere suggestion about what needs to be done, and do this work fast and accurately. I already have the content of the site, am only waiting for this custom functionality.
