Import data from two csv files into ListingProWP

PROBLEM: I have to routinely update my Wordpress site which is running ListingProWP with new listings and reviews I get from two files, one called listings.csv and another one called reviews.csv. The first contains all fields required to create a listing and some additional custom fields. The second file contains review data for each of those listings.

Therefore I need to first import listings.csv and create a new listing for each row. Then import reviews.csv, create a new review for each row and link the two using the key field slug.

Im looking for a custom solution because theres no option to import reviews out of the box. I tried a few methods such as cloning posts, importing reviews as custom posts, modifying the database from within MySQL, and a few more and none of them worked so far.
