Administrative and Accounting Assistant

We are an upcoming interpretation company that focus on the workers compensation area. Our company works with over 500 interpreters that are based in the California state and they provide a range of in person court and medical interpretation to patients and injured workers in need.

Currently we are looking for an administrative and accounting assistant that will help our company accountant in performing invoicing, reconciliation, production of PNL, and liaison with vendors and interpreters on all pricing and invoicing related matters. You will also assist to perform account payable and receivable management.

You should work 5 hours per day x 6 days per week, and have extremely high attention to detail and ability to provide a report daily to management.

The person that we are looking for has to be extremely comfortable dealing with a lot of numbers throughout the entire working day, each interpreter will have their own cost and each job will have its own revenue base, the job of the administrative accountant is to assist the company accountant in acquiring the necessary information so the thousands of transactions that our company manage will be recorded accurately in our PnL. This will not be a silo position and will require you to communicate with our internal and external teams on a regular basis.

Later on in your career, we will expect you to perform these tasks independently.
