Linux Administrator, Troubleshooter, Trainer

I have a number of business ventures that make it desirable for me to learn how to fluently deploy VPSs and set up security. The current project is setting up a wordpress site, a personal vpn for my family. Id like to do a deep dive into locking down the security. At some point I may consider reselling vpn and cloud storage services for my customers

Currently I do windows and mac support, but Im a total newb with linux, encryption and network troubleshooting

Your job is to come in and figure out what Im doing wrong when I mess up and explain it to me in detail

The two most important aspects are competence and availability. I dont want to waste my time or yours. Especially if Im paying by the hour, Id like you to be able to jump in and quickly and succinctly troubleshoot, explain the problem and all its ramifications, and how to fix it. Id like to set up specific times when youll be available

I can guarantee at least 10 hours if I hire you, but they will be sporadic as I run into problems. If youre good and meet my companies growing needs it could be much more. I will give you a couple of problems when I interview to see if you can figure it out in a reasonable amount of time

Because the primary responsibility is to train and communicate with me, good teaching skills and fluent english are vital

Desired skills/projects: vncserver, openssh, wireguard, wordpress, encryption automation/scripting/interface with cloudstorage api, pfsense, vpn, vps, SEO, ecom security/ api interface with common providers
