Were looking for a bioinformatics developer to implement algorithms for our qPCR device. Applicants should be:
1. Highly skilled in Julia or R programming language. Julia is preferred, but developers with strong R background who are willing to learn Julia are welcomed to apply.
2. Experienced in working with scientific data sets such as curve fitting, clustering, etc.
3. Familiarity with qPCR and qPCR algorithms like baseline subtraction, Cq calling, deconvolution, quantification, etc. is a plus, but not required.
I will share our website with shortlisted candidates for getting an idea of what youd be working on.
Were seeking immediate help (10 to 20 hours/week) to debug Julia algorithm performance for our qPCR device software. This can turn into a part-time, on-going engagement for new feature development such as multi-channel melt curves, deconvolution algorithm for additional optical channels, and quantification methods for test kits.
