BI developer with strong SQL skills

We are a growing startup with a unique mix of senior talent with extensive experience in retail, data science, marketing communications, and technology. In the area of retail analytics, we aim to have solutions that are faster, smarter and better value for money than traditional set-ups.

As a part of our PRODUCT team, you will
- help us and our clients design innovative reports, maintain and improve existing reports using efficient SQL queries and our unique report building solution
- get your hands dirty with data as your everyday bread and butter - clean, match, define, transform, query
- work closely with our other teams to deliver the solutions fast, consistent and bug-free
- recommend how things can be improved next time, and do it better next time
- encouraged to learn, grow and take on ever more ambitious challenges as the company and team scales

We need you to have
- patience, ability to focus on detail, quality, self-checking, testing and minimizing bugs and errors in outputs
- 2+ years of academic or professional experience in data analysis, statistics, data science or another quantitative field
- advanced SQL and Excel knowledge (pivot tables, functions like vlookup.)
- enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced start-up team culture
- fluent English
We would be excited if you have
- retail experience
- knowledge of R or Python
- experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar
- experience with Amazon Web Services (esp. RDS, EC2, S3, Redshift, EMR)
