PHP / Laravel Full Stack Engineer

Were looking for an experienced Laravel based web application developer to join our team to work on revamping a raw PHP web application.
This position is a full-time position as a 3-5 month project. If your performance is outstanding, we would consider offering a long-term contract after this project.

Your Role:
1) You will join our engineering team who are restructuring our codebase by migrating native/raw/classic PHP to Laravel framework.
2) You will work with two other engineers carefully to make this migration happen.
Minimum Qualifications:
1) Fluent communication skills (English)
2) 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with PHP (5.x and 7.x) / Laravel (6.x and 7.x) / MySQL
3) Experience with the Laravel tool-set (esp. Forge, Mix & Vagrant/Homestead)
4) Experience with the Laravel queues, jobs, events, commands, ORM, HTTP, service providers, caching, third party API packages.
5) Experience with Laravel applications speed optimization and performance tuning.
6) Experience with Test-Driven Development
7) Ability to plan a feature before implementing it and providing QA scenarios
8) QAing your work sounds obvious to you.
9) Strong desire to learn new things and evolve.
10) Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to adapt to changes quickly.
11) A team player in terms of communication, collaboration and early errors reporter.
Preferred Qualifications:
1) Wed love it if you develop/contribute to open source projects, especially Laravel.
2) Experience with building and using CI/CD tools.
