Fix an existing small backend project - the developer working on this had some confusion and left it unfinished.

Ensure that stats are submitted to endpoint on remote backend.
Submit some nginx stats (based on parse terminal commands) to another remote endpoint.
Ensure that a local endpoint causes certain actions to be performed when a request is received.
