What is the job of a recruitment consultant?
Recruitment is a professional service that is sold to hiring managers at companies. A career as a recruitment consultant is a choice of a profession, and like all professions, it is a skill that must be learnt and developed. A recruitment consultant has two customers, a candidate and a client and the objective of a recruitment consultant are to create a meeting between these customers.

All professional services firms from law firms to engineering consultancies have two major tasks, the first task is to prospect and the second is to consult. Recruitment consultants need to prospect for candidates and clients. This involves staying active in a niche area, having conversations with many people, and pro-actively marketing your skills and services. Consulting is about dispensing advice to candidates about their careers and clients about their talent management, structures and strategy.

Been a consultant is having your own business within a business. You will learn a profession that can be practised anywhere in the world from any other location in the world. You will learn the vital art of rainmaking, the ability to generate business and income for yourself. You will make a difference to candidates and clients while at the still time making a very good income.
