Wordpress Updates - Need dev work for a site that we're looking to revamp

We have a WP site that needs some love. Specifically, were looking for dev help to:
1. help clean up our current WP instance
2. move toward either - a more modern template or add in additional Ux elements that make the current template feel more modern.

Id love someone who is comfortable & deeply familiar with Wordpress.
