Power electronics for Vibrational Energy Harvesting

ROLE
- Generates block diagrams, power budgeting, and general performance analysis.
- Performs analog and digital circuit design and analysis, generation of schematic diagrams, parts lists, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and test plans and procedures.
- Proposes technical solutions, prepares progress reports, maintains engineering documentation
- Works within budgets and schedules

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- B.S Electronics engineering
- 2+ years of relevant experience from industry
- Excellent working knowledge of high impedance analog circuits
- Product development experience from basic design, simulation, prototyping and testing/evaluation
- Work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years experience in low-power rectifier and efficient switching circuits
- Familiar with piezoelectric energy harvesting circuitry
- Familiar with high impedance energy voltage and buck converters.
- Familiar with gate driver and sensor circuit board design for AC-DC power converters.
- Familiar with circuit simulation software, such as Matlab/Simulink, SPICE software, Saber, Simplorer, etc.
