We have a Cisco 2504 Wireless Lan Controller that we are currently having issues with some clients connecting that are unable to get an IP address. The problem is avoided when using an unmanaged WAP bypassing the WLAN controller going directly to the switch -> router.

If the problem can be resolved without resetting the WLAN Controller then great, otherwise we are open to factory-resetting it, it would then need re-configuring using the backed up config as source material (prefer not to load the config, instead use it as a reference to set it up from scratch).
