Data Collection

We need a freelancer that can find contact information for website links for a specific faculty at high schools in New York City and the Bay Area. We already have a list of school that we need freelancer to find information on, so responsibilities would include research on the high school website for name, title, and contact information. The people and titles should be related to the college counseling office or equivalent and the title should be Director/Associate Director or equivalent. If the email address of a faculty member is unavailable on the school website, we expect freelancer to try a google search to find email contact. If still unavailable, freelancer should add the URL for the faculty members Linkedin page. We also want the high school official website homepage URL linked to the high school name in the spreadsheet.

In addition, we want to find information on parent association group leaders and their contact information. Information will be used for organization outreach for partnerships and marketing of services. It may not be possible to find this information, so we dont necessarily expect every school to be filled out, but we do want the freelancer to do a google search and also check for linkedin pages.

I will share an excel file with shortlisted candidates, that started the data collection and shows what kind of data we want collected and how we want it organized. We also want the freelancer to research additional schools to add to the list. For New York City schools, weve already included a list of 55 schools that we want information for, but we want the freelancer to find 45 more schools (100 total). Schools should be chosen based on the socioeconomic status of the families that have children there. This makes private schools the priority, but higher income public schools can also be included. For the Bay area, same thing. weve included a few schools we definitely want information for, but we want the freelancer to find 100 total schools in the area and all relevant information.
There are separate tabs for New York schools, Bay Area Schools, and online high schools. We expect data collection to be done ASAP and all proposals should include an estimated number of hours for completion.
