DevOps for Support Team

We need a DevOps engineer to support our CMS systems, currently Drupal and Wordpress, keeping systems up to date and running smoothly

Your Primary Responsibility: Ensuring that CMS systems are kept up to date. Apply security patches within 1 business day and other patches within 1 week. You will be responsible for deploying the updates to the correct branches, working with the development team if there is development in progress. You will be responsible for back end development, resolving issues with systems in the event updates cannot be applied.

Detailed Role description: As a DevOps engineer you plan and prepare the infrastructure for development and production. You are responsible that the environments are available and running during development, that every developer has access to commit and deploy his code, deployment and go live. You install and configure tools such as Jenkins and Docker so that the team can focus on the development. Your job is to keep the production sites up-and-running and ensure our customer is happy with the availability and response times.

Hours; our business hours are 9h to 17h CEST weekdays. The job requires approximately 10-15 hours a week. In the event of an urgent security update you will need to resolve within 1 business day.
