System or Server Admin For WHM/AWS/Linux/WPsecurity. EXPERIENCED ONLY!

We are a Digital Agency with over 100+ sites running through Various instances. Most of the sites are in WP and a few in Magento. Security and Stability are key to our business success. This is why we only need and Experienced Pro ONLY.

1. Admin will be responsible for timely checking and updating all aspects of the server including but not limited to EBS, EC2, S3, WHM, security, and optimization.

2. Two hours per month will be allowed to do regular maintenance and all maintenance should be done during off-peak hours (12 AM EST till 5 AM EST). All systems to be checked to confirm smooth running after every change/update

3. Admin will be playing a proactive role in suggesting/advising us for optimum, hassle-free performance of our system.

4. The Admin should be available on Skype during EST hours from 4 AM EST till 6 PM EST (New York Time)

5. Security is a crucial concern. Hence keys and access to critical accounts must be maintained in an encrypted vault and not to be shared with anyone unless there is a written request from the CEO or Project manager. There will be an NDA required to be signed and followed.

6. Alarms to be set for below and above the optimum values(in all critical attributes) and should be monitored along with keeping a tap on brute force attacks.

7. Regular maintenance and cleanup of backups and snapshots.

8. Integrate CDN for some of our critical sites and improve overall server response time.

9. Update PHP version, use Redis and Photon WP, Nginx, LXD containers.

10. Highly responsive via Skype and Email

11. Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues to completion.

12. All tasks will be given via our internal project management system.


Initially, We will allow up to 8 hours for the person to set up and configure the server for better Security and Stability. During this time you will take authority of the system and change all the passwords and keys. Patch up and upgrade the server for optimum performance. Anything features or options on the server is compromised due to security or issues and/or service issues, you will be responsible to resolve them asap. Contingencies must and should always be planned.

Please note this is NOT an easy project or job. You will be expected to perform, maintain and adhere to high professional standards and must be pro-active in the task and management of the server then reactive. You will be expected to take initiative to the task and actively manage plus prevent issues before they happen or resolve issues as they happen very quickly.
