I am looking for a qualified skincare product development formulator who has a degree in chemistry, biology or chemical engineering to develop a LUXURIOUS Anti-Aging Night serum for my wife because she wants to quit her job and start her own business. I am interested especially in experienced formulators who in the past have worked and got trained by large skincare companies so that they have developed full formulation expertise.
MARKETING CLAIMS FOR my anti-aging Night Face SERUM: 1) provides intense hydration, 2) anti-wrinkle results visible in 2 weeks, 3) provides skin brightening, and skin discoloration removal, 4) enhances skin firmness-tightening and enhances elasticity, 5) increases skin Radiance. 6) Formulation should be free of Parabens, and any other potentially toxic ingredients.
This serum should be able to compete in the prestige luxury skincare market segment with the Bellatorra, Estee Lauder and Dr. Perriconne, MD, etc, which sell between $150-$300/1.0 oz. The Ingredients Formulation costs may be up to $6/1.0 oz.
1) If you do this kind of work, whats your product development cost?
2) Also, what testing you include in your product development cost?
3) Do you have your own chemistry wet lab to run your experiments? or you might operate as a consultant outside of a chemistry-cosmetics lab?
4) How many weeks or months will it take you to develop the Night anti-aging serum?
5) If this project is successful, my wife will have more skincare product development projects in the future.
