.Net Chief Architect

Looking to someone who specializes in .Net and only work on .Net projects. Not looking for a generalist or jack-of-all-trades.

Your initial task will be to aid us in moving from bare-metal server to Azure, please talk about your experience in doing something similar in your proposal along with how you would approach the problem at a high level.

Were looking to bring someone aboard long-term, this initial task will let us know if we can work long term.

# Necessary Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with of C# .NET
- 5+ years of experience with SQL
- Deep knowledge of Azure (and migrating to Azure)
- Integrating Reporting and Logging services (Rollbar, New Relic, etc...)
- Experience with API testing and RESTful API Design
- Great English
- Excellent communication skills (I expect you to over-communicate)

# Nice to have:
- Angular 1.x experience
- Knowledgeable about micro-service/serverless architectures
- AWS Experience

# Must be able to:
- Communicate via slack on the daily basis
- Spend 10-20 hours a week on the project
- Track progress of work (we use Github Kanban)
- Say I love Microsoft at the top of your proposal, so I know you read this (or you will be ignored)
- Mention why you like working with .Net in your proposal so I know you read this (or you will be ignored)

# Please dont apply if:
- Youre juggling many projects at once (we want to move you to full-time if possible eventually)
- Consider your self a jack-of-all-trades (we want someone who mostly works in .net)
- Need detailed instructions on every task (we expect you to be a self-starter and communicate your thoughts)
