Leaflet Mapping Expert Task

I have an application that uses Leaflet Mapping Library together with humangeo plugin. Using the humangeo plugin, I have a datalayer created showing a number of points. This is all working, however I need someone to help me to change the points to a specific png icon. For example, one layer shows schools on the map. I want all the schools to be a different color, or an icon of a school.

You must have had previous experience using leaflet. Please let me know when you used it, and and how you might go about solving the above issue.
