PHP Script to find out of % of changes of HTML document

Makeup: a file is made up combining 2 or more different files. The the combined file is edited.
Objective: Find out the % of unique text changes for each of the files that make up the HTML file. (may convert HTML to txt first if needed, as we only interested to know the text changes)

Background: We have writing thats done by 2 or more staff, the writing is then combined into 1 file, and a proofreader make changes to the combined file. We need to determine what % of changes are made to each of the small file based on editing done to the combined file.

I will share a combined file as well as individual files of html with shortlisted candidates.

We need to find out what % of changes are made for both file.
Please make that in PHP and you may use third party plugins that works in linux. (we run amazon linux servers)
