REK or DiCOM file manipulation

Current Scenario:
- We have 200 GB REK file
- Using VGStudio Max we can convert it STL or DICOM files
- While converting STL file we are facing huge data lose for internal parts
- But External layers is very smooth in STL
- Also VGStudio max is too expensive.
- I am am research scholar and doing my survey

My Request:
- Need any open source software for manipulating REK files
- Need any open source software for manipulating DICOM files
- Need any open source software for manipulating STL files
- Need technical instruction of how to manipulate open source software
