The Database is a Directory of Merchant classified by their profession and the association they belong to. The Directory should allow flexible, intelligent search for merchants (by city, speciality, etc.) or mix of fields, e.g. entering Locksmith, City-A, will list the locksmiths in City-A in the beginning of the list.

The Directory is accessible thru Web browser. Front-end has two parts, a client-view (the search), and Staff View for web-master and staff to update/maintain the DB. The Directory should allow for multiple updating by staff. (This can be implemented such that each user update are kept on a temporary space. The Webmaster can run update the current version of DB thru a Batch process!)
