Chef and Linux Ops with AWS experience

Independent contractors only. Need not apply if you are part of an agency or company.

Candidates must be able to work independently on assigned tasks, but be able to speak English fluently and confidently as the candidate would be required to attend and contribute to team meetings regularly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Successfully complete assigned tasks in a timely matter.
Work a full work day in the US EST Timezone (New York). 20 hours per week minimum, Monday - Friday.

SKILLS MUST INCLUDE:

1. Working experience with Automation tool like Chef.
2. Experience with AWS Cloud services.
3. Knowledge of Linux Server Operating Systems.
4. Knowledge of bootstraping with AMIs to launch EC2 instances.
5. Python and Bash scripting skills are required.
6. Good exposure to relational databases (ideally MySQL & Postgressql) and networking concepts.
7. Hands on experience with DynamoDB,Loadbalancers ,SNS,SQS,Route53 ,Autoscaling ,Lambda Function,Redshift,Certificate Manager & IAM roles,Policies.
8. User management on various tools including AWS IAM.
