Skill Requirements:

- At least 5 years working with Laravel
- At least 3 years working with CI/CD
- A complete understanding of best practices for PHP DevOps


Task Management

Task will be managed in Jira, with Epic, Stories and task as well as Sprints.
All communications will be through JIRA and you are expected to answer questions in a timely fashion.
You must comment at the end of each day - if youre in the middle of something, leave a comment so that the team can see it.
We will give a preference to someone who can work in our timezone EST

General Overview:

We are beginning a new project that will be built off a React Frontend and a Laravel Backend.
What we need you to do is setup the project with the following general concepts:

Localhost environment with Docker.
Code quality enforcement.
Unit Test and coverage enforcement.
Git commit messages and branching enforcement via git hooks.
Bitbucket pipelines on push, pull request and merge
Implement release and versioning as part of the Git flow - were not looking for an extra step
Use pipelines for deployments to Live and Dev environments


There might be some things that we are not aware of or some standards that we left out.
Heres where we really turn to you, we want you to show us and set up this project in the most efficient manner.
Our goal is to be able to bring on many developers and we want to make sure that our codebase starts and stays as clean as possible.


If you apply for this job, we will ask you to show us other environments that you have setup.
We understand that you likely have a non disclosure agreement, but if theres nothing that you can show us, we wont be able to hire you.
