Web - Firebase - Browser Notification - Issue

We have created a portal using PHP/mysql. We have used firebase for sending push notifications on browser when user is logged in. Its working correctly.

The problem area is,
When user is logged in (Chrome) and has opened multiple tabs and when admin sends out a notification to user, it receives same notification on all tabs which are opened. Ideally it should receive only one notification irrespective number of tabs opened.

We will share code if we finalize with you.
