App Development for Connected Pet Feeder with Video Streaming

We are looking for an experienced developer to create an app for a new pet feeder and to build a website where our customers will be able to access the same features that the app provides, using a browser.

Our feeder has several unique features, but the app will not need to be very different from the apps for competing feeders.

List of pet feeder app features:
- Menu
o Shows a list of your pets (1 - 12 pets), and an indicator that they have been eating the right amount of food, or a BOLD red indicator that they are not eating. This list will present a photo of your pet. You can upload a photo of your pet as its general profile icon.
o Allows you to set the data about your cat (age, weight, gender, activity level whether it also eats dry food)

- Features Feeding and schedule
o Informs you based on the data what would be the perfect amount of food for your cat to eat daily and recommends a feeding schedule.
o Allows you to either accept proposed schedule or set a new one for each pet (how many feedings per day, time of feedings, total weight of food at each feeding).
o Follows the schedule even if app/feeder is offline (WiFi failure, or other comm problem).
o Keeps the time in the app the same as the time zone where the feeder is (so that if you set a new schedule being in the different time zone for 5 AM - 12 Noon - 7 PM, it will feed your cat exactly at this time) and changes automatically with winter-summer time changes
o Allows you to order pet food from the app/desktop

- API
o Develop and define the API to the feeder, working with the main PCB developers

- Notifications
o Warns you when the feeder is low on food
o Alerts you when your pet is not eating, misses one meal.
o Notifies you when your pet ate the whole meal for today
o Warns you if something is jammed

- Data Presentation
o Displays weekly statistics and diet suggestions tailored to your pet
o Shows differences in how much your cat eats daily (the graph or calendar showing the changes )

- Access
o More than one user can use the account from different smartphones
o Works on iPhone and Android
o Web access from a desktop computer, with all the same features. Allows you to log in to a browser (not only from the app). Important for users that dont have a smart phone, or when phone is not available.
